Used Garden Shed 6 feet by 4 feet ‘shiplap’ wooden. Ready to re-assemble -it’s in panels, 2 sides 2 ends, & a floor. Half a roof-roof is 2 panels-you will need one as old one damaged. Then you will need mineral felt for the roof. Easy d-i-y job. To collect you will need a Transit size mid to large van or a pick up. It is in ‘average’ condition being some 7-8 years old, but the wood is OK, may need an extra nail or screw here & there, but definitely reusable for a few more years. Free.
One and a half bowl stainless steel sink with right hand draining board. Good condition but probably needs a clean as has been sitting in the shed for a few months. Free to a good home. Collection this bank holiday weekend if possible.
We are the Jubilation Community Centre Committee and we are looking for a disused food trailer so that we can use it as a soup kitchen for the homeless people on the streets of Bedfordshire. Dear Freegle members
I am a very keen recycler and am emailing to ask for Freegle members help 😊
I am signed up as a Terracycle public drop off point for Sandy, collecting all empty crisp packets. I collect and send all empty/clean wrappers to Terracycle and they in turn recycle this waste. This waste cannot be recycled through our local CBC recycling bins and ends up in landfill.
For reference please find below CBC's response regarding crisp packet waste
Hi Teresa, we removed crisp packets as an accepted recyclable item from the Council website a few months ago and are currently in the process of preparing a new recycling leaflet that will reflect this particular change. Thanks Waste Services.
In exchange for sending empty crisp packets to Terracycle, they award my account with Terracycle points. These points can be converted in to £'s for charity every 6 months.
For 2019, all proceeds are going towards the Friends of Sandy Christmas Lights charity. In December 2019, I will swap to a new Sandy based charity.
Would Freegle members be willing to save their packets for me? I do not receive any financial benefit myself from doing this but the Christmas event for Sandy will benefit financially until December 2019 & ultimately, the environment benefits.
They can be dropped off at my home address anytime (1 Partridge Piece, Sandy. SG19 2UP - I have a grey lidded bin to the front of my property that can be accessed 24 hours a day).
Thanking you in anticipation
Hi - would anyone have a small waffle maker machine or ice cream maker machine as my son is after either to help with his skills section of his Duke of Edinburgh Award which he is about to start. Much appreciated.
