Hi - anyone got any plain wooden picture/photo frames they don't need preferably with glass/plastic and even better mounts to fit the sizes below? (see picture for example)
Looking for ones that would fit between A3 (30x42cm/16x12") and 14"x18"(35x45cm). With mount and frame they would need to be larger (20"x16"/50x40cm upto 26"x22"/66x55cm depending on frame size and mount) but would take ones that fit those sizes exactly as well. I'm going to strip and paint if needed (not me, the frames!) so colour isn't important, just nothing too fancy/ornate to match the others which are mostly like the pic. Good condition though doesn't have to be perfect - I can fill the odd scratch or ding.
I'm planning an exhibition of local tree paintings I've done, thinking of donating part of any proceeds to XR or Woodland Trust so the recycled frame is important. I don't want more trees to be cut down if I can upcycle! Already got some from the local charity shop, but I need a few more.
