"The freegle, the saw and and wardrobe" 8

We wanted a new wardrobe for my son's bedroom as he is getting older, but his room woiuldn't fit a normal sized one and getting one built by a carpenter was VERY expensive. I found a wardrobe door on freegle, cut it down to size (with a circular saw hired from Oxford Library of Things), and added a couple of side panels (from Oxford Wood Recycling, in Abingdon). It took quite a few hours work over a couple of weeks, but for less than £50 he got his "new" wardrobe.. it even has a natural interior light feature (ie. no roof!)..
