RULES of the Pontefract Freegle group:

1. OFFER posts are automatically re-posted after 3 days.

2. WANTED posts are automatically re-posted after 7 days.

3. Please don't sell items you got from Freegle without the permission of the person who gifted it to you. If you do intend to sell it, please make this clear to the person giving the item away.

4. We do not accept any posts for the giving away of:

- pets / living creatures

- weapons

- alcohol

- prescription medication

5. Kitchen or craft knives may be given away providing the recipient is 18+ years old. The giver should request ID if age is in doubt.

6. We do not allow borrowing. We have thousands of members and cannot possibly get involved in situations where an item may be returned broken or not returned at all.

7. Duplicate posts will be deleted. Only one post per item will be approved.

8. Requesting money for items being advertised is strictly forbidden. All Freegle items MUST be given away for free with no strings attached.
