OFFER: Acer Notebook ZG5 (2008) (Enfield EN1)
DESCRIPTION
Acer Notebook ZG5 (***) BUT read carefully as it's more a burden than a bargain and will only appeal to a real computer enthusiast! 8.9-inch ***x600 display, an Intel Atom N270 1.6 GHz processor, and 160GB (I think) HDD There are 4 BIG SNAGS: 1.(main one) the screen is damaged and needs replacing (they cost about £21 on ebay) (see picture of the fault - looks like a black hand on the righthand side of the screen); 2. Battery dead and won't charge (replacement battery £14.99 - possibly cheaper) and it can't be charged anyway as there is (3) no charger (19v needed at £9.99); and, if that's not depressing enough, (4) please note it is running Linux (not Windows). The point is that for the money you would need to get it working you can pick up a working one cheaper on ebay or an old XP laptop!
